Thursday, May 3 | ROCKETOWN | 6:30-8:30pm
371 S. Federal Hwy., Pompano Beach, FL 33062 NFL stars
Warrick Dunn and Kevin Carter are coming to Rock the Rivalry at
Rocketown. Both received the Walter Payton Man of the Year award, and
both have devoted their post-football career to helping at-risk youth.
These two stars battled even before reaching the NFL when they played at
FSU (Dunn) and UF (Carter). We're bringing them back to Rocketown to
Rock the Rivalry once again.
Attendees will wear their college colors, "tailgate" in fan sections,
and battle for the Rocketown Rally Title Cup. Who will raise the most
money for Rocketown? We'll find out on May 3, 2012. Rocketown is
a nonprofit organization in Pompano Beach, FL. Our after school programs
provide activities for under-served youth in Broward county. We provide
a free skateboard park, music concerts, and Christian mentorship for
teenagers in our community.
