The Pompano Beach Green Market is presented by the Pompano Beach Historical Society and is committed to providing the best and freshest fruits and vegetables, juices, baked goods, seafood, gourmet teas and coffees and other food items, as well as orchids, plants and health-related products and services. Visitors will find art, books and historical images available at the Market, as well.  The Green Market is located in the city's historic downtown, at Flagler Avenue and NE First Street, the Market will be open for business from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The Green Market will be held every Saturday through April 24, 2010. Future Green Market Saturdays will feature art shows, historical walking tours of Pompano Beach historic downtown, antique automobile shows, environmental exhibits and products, and other special themes. This year's Gala:  6:30 p.m. – 12 midnight will be held at the Marriot North and will be celebrating thirty-two Men of Honor, men who have had a positive influence in their Community and set an example of giving back to the Community. This black-tie event will be a tribute to Community involvement, tapping students from the high schools to act as Hosts and Hostesses, earning service hours necessary for graduation.

19 Pompano Beach “Scenic A1A”  Car Show & Cruise-in-Night Pompano Beach, FL – The Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce will host a monthly “Scenic A1A” Car Show & Cruise-In Night co-sponsored by the City of Pompano Beach and the CRA (Community Redevelopment Agency) of Pompano Beach, the Car Show & Cruise-In is from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm every third Friday of the month and will take place in the parking lot on A1A in front of  the Pompano Pier.

The Car Show & Cruise-In showcases classic cars, antiques, specialty vehicles and more. All types of vehicles are invited. Cost is $3.00 per car and $5.00 if the car is for sale. There will also be music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Admission is free to walk in and see all the cars. The  Pompano Beach “Scenic A1A Car Show and Cruise-In  is a joint effort spearheaded by the CRA as way to attract locals and visitors alike to  the Pompano’s beach area . The car viewing area is in the parking lot in front of the Pompano Pier. For more information about the Car Show please contact promoter Eugene Reedy at 954.410.5536. Everyone is invited to attend this new event and spectators are FREE. Come stroll the beach, take walk on the Pier, have dinner in one of  Pompano’s many restaurants and check out all the cool cars.
