Senior TLC’s January and February free meals event. Serving
all of Pompano.
Seniors looking for assistance and for
more information please call: 954.294.6214. Striving to improve the
lives of seniors and their families. Each member provides one on one
service that helps our clients remain happy and independent while
providing much-needed support for the entire family. We do not serve as
home health aids or drivers. We are companions. Services include:
-Errands -3 cooked meals per week -Arts and crafts -Exercise
-1 hour of Pet therapy visit - Light house keeping -Laundry -Doctors
Visits -Grocery store visits -Prescription pick up 2 - 29 The Hillsboro
Lighthouse Preservation Society and COPB Cultural Committee are sponsoring an
Art and Photography Exhibit at Herb Skolnick Recreation Center February 2
through February 29. A reception, open to the public, will be held on February
9, from 6-8 pm. The Art Exhibit will be moved to E. Pat Larkins Recreation
Center on Wed., February 29, for another month's viewing through March 31st. A
reception will be held at that site on Monday, March 5 from 2-4 pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend and light
refreshments will be provided. Local artists
and photographers will be featured at the receptions as well as HLPS members.

adolescents ages 1 to 21. Even more
startling is that four out of five child car seats are improperly
installed. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue Certified Child Passenger Safety
Technicians will be checking children’s car seats for proper
installation, safety and recall status. Inspections are held at
Pompano Beach Fire-Rescue Station 24 located at 2001 NE 10th
Street (on the corner of NE 10th Street and Federal Highway)
