Hotels
- We have compiled the following list of hotels/motels in our area.  It is meant merely as a guide and may not include all hotels in this area. This list is not intended to be an endorsement.

Beaches
We have some of the most beautiful beaches in all of South Florida. The public beach is guarded 7 Days a Week 9:00 am - 4:45 pm.  The beach is open 365 days a year.  More information on our beaches. The City has a number of
local Dive Shop Operators and charter fishing boats for your recreational needs.

Transportation
- Depending on where you are staying. you may be able to walk to many area hops and restaurants or you can take advantage of our Community Bus Program.  There are also many car rental agencies in our city as well as taxi services; please visit our local yellow pages for more information by clicking here.

Dining - You will find some wonderful dining, both casual and up scale dinning in the Pompano Beach area. While we can't list every  establishment we do invite you visit South Florida.Com's Restaurant Guide to help you better select the place that is right for your taste.  Another resource is our local paper the Sun Sentinel; who also has a great restaurant section.

We like to brag that we have some of the best weather on the East Coast.  However, weather can be unpredictable so we recommend you visit www.weather.com for the seasonal averages and more detailed information on our local weather at the time of your vacation.  Did you know Pompano Beach and South Florida have the only natural coral reefs you can swim to from the shore in North America?  Additionally, the sport fishing "Rodeo" wrecks and other artificial reefs sunk by Broward County offer world class diving at our doorstep.
