The 2010 Census
Complete Count Census 2010;To learn more please visit these web sites:
US Census Bureau and
Broward County Census Department
Every housing unit will receive a
questionnaire on the 2010 Census. The questionnaire will be mailed to
the occupant of the housing unit. The questionnaire will consist
of only 10 questions which should take most households 10 minutes to
answer. Most Census forms will arrive in the mail March 15-17, 2010. If
the household does not fill out and return the form, Census workers will
then go door to door from the end of April to July to households to
assist households in completing the form. Census workers will make
repeated visits to the household, if they are unable to make contact on
the first visit. Census workers will carry an ID badge with an
expiration date and a Department of Commerce watermark. Census workers
are trained to do business outside the door. Please note: The Census
form does not ask for a social security number, or other financial
information, such as bank account numbers. The Census Bureau will not
contact you by e-mail. And the form cannot be completed on-line. |
